Seafood is a pretty standard cuisine in coastal states but you can find delicious seafood anywhere in the country, regardless of proximity to large bodies of water. With so many seafood restaurants to choose from, it's hard to know where to start. Fortunately, Washington has plenty of incredible restaurants serving up tasty dishes that will make seafood lover happy.
Using reviews, awards and accolades as well as first-hand experience, LoveFood compiled a list of the "best seafood restaurant" in every state, from shacks serving ultra-fresh dishes to lauded establishments with stellar cuisine.
According to the site, the top choice for all of Washington is Local Tide. This Seattle eatery is dedicated to crafting delicious meals, and the results speak for themselves. Local Tide, which has a 4.8 star rating on Google and more than 1,200 reviews, is located at 401 N. 36th Street, Unit 103.
Here is what LoveFood had to say about this popular seafood spot:
"There's a lot of attitude and a diverse line-up of dishes packed into this compact space in Fremont. Local Tide opened in 2020 and has a carefully crafted but down-to-earth menu or rockfish banh mi, crispy fried oysters, and flavorful salmon bowls. If you want to try the signature crab roll — hand-cracked Dungeness crab, mayo, lemon, and chives on a split top bun — you'll have to plan your trip for between Friday and Sunday. Be quick, because it sells out fast!"
